Press Statement
CALLING SOUTH DURBAN & DURBAN RESIDENTS TO A SPEAK OUT
ON “PAIN OF AFRICA”.
The residents of Bluff, Wentworth, Austerville, Merebank,
Isipingo, Lamontville, Umlazi, Clairwood and Durban need to
stand up against polluting industries. People’s health
and lives are once again considered ‘CHEAP’ and
are less important than profits. You need to unite to STOP
the Toxic Chemicals that lead to ill health and in some cases
death.
PAIN OF AFRICA will focus on the ABUSE that Multi-National
Corporations inflict on you. International speakers will be
from the DRC, Zambia, Botswana, Angola, Ireland, The Netherlands
and South Africa including the local community.
Why you should attend this public meeting in your numbers?
To share your PAIN and to listen to other experiences from
all over the last few decades with regards to:
- HIGH LEVELS OF POLLUTION!!
- HIGH LEVELS OF CANCER, ASTHMA, LEUKAEMIA!!
- INCREASING EXPANSION OF DIRTY CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES AND
REFINERIES!!
- To understand that we are not alone in our pain and suffering.
